The Russian president has held talks with several heads of state during his four-day visit to China

Russian President Vladimir Putin joined his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and various other heads of state for a grand military parade in Beijing on Wednesday, after which Putin held talks with Kim and delegations from their two countries.

Wednesday's events follow the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, where Putin held a series of bilateral talks with Xi and the leaders of Mongolia, Slovakia, Pakistan, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and Belarus. Discussions focused on energy, trade, regional issues, and bilateral ties with Russia.

Moscow and Beijing described each other as strategic partners and pledged to deepen cooperation "without limits" across multiple sectors, including security, technology, finance, and research.
